Job Descriptions

Opening Ceremony volunteers will play a variety of roles:

Production Support, Green Room Managers, Ushers, Security, Perimeter Control, Guest and Information Services, Athlete staging, Ticketing and general flex positions. 

Most positions will be trained upon arrival by an area lead.  You should be prepared for the weather and wear very comfortable shoes as you may be on your feet for several hours.

You must pack anything you wish to bring into the stadium inside a clear plastic bag.  It’s advisable not to bring valuables with you that you cannot keep on your person throughout the day.

Parking

Paid parking is available at the University of Washington $10 all day in the Husky Football Parking Lots. 

On the day of the Opening Ceremony (Sunday July 1, free parking will be available in the West lot for all volunteers working during the Opening Ceremony and showing their credential.  One vehicle per credential.  This parking does not include the Opening Ceremony Cheer line.

Cheer Line volunteers are encouraged to ride light rail or are welcome to access any of the paid lots available on campus that day.
