Job Descriptions

Golf volunteers will perform a variety of jobs to support the tournament.  You may be assisting with athlete check-in each morning, helping to check-in other volunteers or distributing caddie bibs.  During play, some volunteers will support athletes on the course by delivering lunches, driving ball spotters to their locations or offering breaks to ball spotters out on the course.

Skills volunteers will take turns managing the various skills stations, escorting athletes, keeping score and offering encouragement.

Ball spotters will play a critical role on the course by watching for balls that might not be easily spotted thereby keeping up the pace of play.

Food and hydration teams will support the lunch both at the clubhouse and deliver lunch to the 18 hole athletes and volunteers on the course. These volunteers will also serve to manage the supply of Coca-cola beverages, restocking various areas as needed.

Finally, a team of volunteers will assist in checking the scorecards when play is complete and ensure prompt delivery to the scoring room for the results team.

Volunteers should ensure that the clubhouse is tidy and organized at all times, that garbage and recycling is maintained appropriately and support the golf course staff.
