Use the following information to learn more about the details of your volunteer position.

Job Descriptions

If you’ve ever watched or played bocce you know that the game has specific and moderately complex set of rules.  For Special Olympics bocce there will be 6-8 people managing each court supporting those rules, managing flow of play and guarding the perimeter of the court so that spectators don’t interfere with play.

Additionally, inside Dempsey Arena there are volunteer and officials lounges where volunteers will assist with keeping the area tidy, hydration product well-stocked. Volunteers will check credentials to keep athlete-only areas secure and restrict access as needed.

Paid parking is available at the University of Washington $6 all day in the E-1 Husky Football Parking Lots.

Volunteers are encouraged to ride light rail or are welcome to access any of the paid lots available on campus that day.
