The Countdown Starts Now: 2018 Special Olympics USA Games Just One Year Away
The one-year countdown has officially begun for the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games (www.SpecialOlympicsUSAGames.org). One year from now – July 1-6, 2018 – more than 4,000 Special Olympics athletes and coaches from all 50 states and the District of Columbia will gather in Seattle to compete before tens of thousands of spectators and volunteers. The 2018 USA Games will showcase the limitless talents of people with intellectual disabilities while promoting the barrier-breaking power of sport to promote inclusion and acceptance.

Brooks Running Company announced their partnership with the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games, taking place July 1-6 in Seattle, Wash. Over 4,000 athletes and coaches from 14 different sports will participate in the games. Also attending are over 70,000 spectators, partners and volunteers.

It was a night of a thousand stars as the biggest names in Seattle sports, broadcast and entertainment partied with more than 200 guests on the Seattle waterfront. The party was a fundraiser for the Special Olympics USA Games which will be held in Seattle in July 2018. As the sun set, partygoers experienced the ride of a lifetime as they took a spin on the Seattle Great Wheel with Jim Zorn, Steve Largent, Kasey Keller, Breanna Stewart and many more.
